New, special board for the Mentelity Foundation

The Mentelity Foundation is proud to present its new board. Besides Bibian Mentel, from now on Eva Bakker, Jakomijn van Doorn, Maartje Kardol, Meriyem Manders and Anouk van Oordt will also take their place on the board. The new board members are not only five power women, but also Bibian's best friends.

Edwin Spee, Bibian's husband director at the Mentelity Foundation, is very proud of the new board. "During my search to supplement and renew the Mentelity Foundation board, I had an additional requirement," he explains. "It had to be a board that, in the possible demise of our founder Bibian Mentel, would each have a special connection to Bibian in order to best carry on her wishes and ideas and to be able to assist me when Bibian may no longer be there herself." Edwin ended up with Bibian's friends. "Friends who have all known Bibian for a long time and all five have their own special connection to Bibian. And not just any five girlfriends, but also five power women from the business world. I am incredibly looking forward to working with this new board to make Bibian's dreams come true."

Bibian was surprised last Wednesday with the appointment of the new board members. "I had never dared to dream this: that these friends, in addition to their own busy social and societal lives, want to dedicate themselves to making my dream come true touches me deeply," Bibian said. "I am therefore convinced that the foundation is in the best hands with these ladies together with my husband. But I do, of course, intend to continue to drive and enjoy this partnership myself for as long as possible."
