Mentelity Snowboard School

Fancy sliding down a mountain of snow? Then come take snowboard lessons at Mentelity Snowboardschool and learn snowboarding with a physical challenge. Lessons are offered at different locations in the Netherlands on the tracks of SnowWorld. Mentelity Foundation-trained teachers will show you that snowboarding with a physical challenge is possible.

Lessons with a physical challenge
During Mentelity Snowboard School lessons, participants receive personal guidance and tips and tricks on how to best snowboard in their specific situation. Whether you have a prosthesis or reduced muscle strength in your legs; during our two-hour lessons, Mentelity instructors look at the options to help you get down the mountain in the best way possible.

Course locations and packages
Lessons are currently offered at SnowWorld Amsterdam, Landgraaf, Zoetermeer, Rucphen and Terneuzen in two blocks of ten lessons. The Rucphen and Terneuzen locations were added in 2021. It is possible to purchase individual lessons or choose a package. Look below for an overview of the lesson times and different packages.

Zoetermeer
Classes in Zoetermeer are held on Sunday mornings from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. In spring 2023, classes will start on Sunday, March 12, 2023. The last lesson before the summer break will then be on June 11. September 17, 2023 starts the second block of lessons.

March: 12 (start of lesson block), 19
April: 16, 23, 30
May: 13 (Saturday*), 21, 28
June: 4, 11 (end of course)

September: 17 (start lesson block), 24
October: 1, 8, 15, 29
November: 5, 12, 19, 26 (end of block)

*Lesson on Saturday, May 13, will be combined with the Dutch Ski Association's Parasnowday.

Amsterdam, Landgraaf, Rucphen & Terneuzen
At this moment there are no regular participants at the Mentelity Snowboardschools in Amsterdam, Rucphen and Terneuzen. We do offer loose lessons where we pair you with a teacher! Would you like to learn snowboarding and do you live near SnowWorld? Please contact us and we'll make sure you can hit the slopes!

Packages
It is possible to purchase discharge lessons or buy a package directly for several lessons. Prices for lessons and packages include track access, snowboard and snowboard boots. We also offer a special package of a lesson package combined with a ticket to the Mentelity Games in Switzerland. More information about the Mentelity Games can be found here!
