12-hour challenge

The Mentelity Foundation was founded 10 years ago by Paralympic champion Bibian Mentel with the goal of getting children and youth with physical challenges moving. Like their peers, they deserve to be able to become the best version of themselves. Among the activities the foundation organizes are the Mentelity Games, a multi-day ski trip in Saas Grund where participants can ski, snowboard or sit ski.

To organize the Games, a challenge was devised to raise money: the Hohsaas 12-Hour Challenge. Teams of three will ski or snowboard overnight from 0:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in relay form across the slopes of Saas Grund (Switzerland). The team members alternate to get through the night together. Together with your teammates, you commit to helping others and also make memories for life.

During the night, you can participate in one of three Challenges: Distance -, Fun(d)raise - or the Tour Challenge. Each Challenge has its own unique challenges. Do you want to make winter sports possible for everyone? Then quickly claim your starting ticket here and check out the conditions to participate! In 2023 the Challenge starts Saturday, March 25 at 0:00 a.m. sharp.

On Jan. 12, there was a special kick-off evening with information about the Challenge. A presentation was given that evening with more information and tips for participants. The presentation can be found here
